Land and Water Officer at UN-FAO
My focus is on sustainable natural resources governance and management. I especially work on water resources, and it is clear that water security will be one of the largest global risks, which we are still underestimating as society. Expertise: science-policy-(society) interface and multistakeholder engagement, international negotiation (UN delegate at UNFCCC COP21 and UNCCD COP15), project design and implementation (es. water productivity in agriculture, flood and drought mitigation, integrated land and water management and governance). Chapter Author of the UN World Water Development Report 2020: Water and Climate Change. Academic background in Geology (BSc), Physics (MSc) and Space Engineering (MSc) looking at our planet from sky to the ground.
