Zinah Mohammed is a human rights lawyer holding an LLM Masters of Laws from the UK, experienced in Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy in Iraq particularly around children's rights in a post-ISIS era, Zinah is the outgoing Curator for Erbil hub and a humanitarian worker with experience working with vulnerable groups such as IDPs, Refugees, GBV survivors, and children.
Zinah is the founder of Let's Be Friends Project which twins schools in Iraq and UK to build bridges of peace, coexistence and cultural understanding among children using art as a way of self-expression, she also founded shine together charity team that provided emergency aid for hundreds of refugee and internally displaced families in Iraq as a short-term solution to poverty in an emergency humanitarian context whilst promoting the value of diversity through volunteers from different backgrounds in diverse Iraq.
She is a human rights activist and has represented her country in various international leadership platforms, one of which she represented Iraq before His Royal Highness Prince of Wales Charles in the UK.
Zinah is very passionate about issues of refugees, internally displaces persons, peaceful coexistence and tolerance.
