Zoe Beynon-MacKinnon

Zoe Beynon-MacKinnon is community leader and activist. With background and education in global environmental politics and food justice, her recent work focuses on supporting individuals and communities to live sustainable lives and prevent burn out.

After experiencing significant health barriers caused by a lack of prioritization and over work, Zoe pivoted her work to helping others ensure their impact can continue for years into the future, leaving behind the boom and bust cycle. Now running her own business as a sustainable living + movement coach, Zoe helps individuals, companies and non-profits support the foundations of their well-being.

Moving forward, Zoe is excited to nomalize conversations of individual sustainability as the needed foundation for all other areas of impact.

Zoe is a co-founder of two food justice non-profits based in Vancouver BC. With a MA in Political Science from UBC, BA in Sustainability, Political Science and Minor in Economics from Dalhousie University, as well as certificates in Permaculture Design and Personal Training, Zoe brings both academic and lived experience to her work. Zoe has presented her research at the American Political Science Association (APSA) looks forward to opportunities to share her new and growing work.
