PROBLEM STATEMENT:



People in Munich need to communicate with those outside of their usual circle to promote deeper understanding and acceptance of each other and in particular vulnerable groups.




TARGET GROUP:


Anyone in Munich




PROPOSED SOLUTION:


Guided conversations that focus on people’s experiences and unite them through intimate conversation. The Conversation Cafe aims to challenge this gap of intimacy, by bringing total strangers together, and offering them a menu of personal questions to discuss. Skip the small talk, share what really makes you pain, smile, tick, and makes you - You; and connect with someone you would never connect with in your everyday life. For real.



HUB ACTIVITIES:


Organize and promote actual meet ups every 4 weeks



SHORT-TERM GOALS /RESULTS:



  • Host a CC every 4 weeks






LONG-TERM GOALS /RESULTS:




  • Made friendships between seemingly opposite people; promote understanding




  • challenge gap of intimacy, by bringing total strangers together





AVAILABLE METRICS:



  • Hosted about 25 people each; around 15 sessions were hosted; 

  • post event questionnaire measured the perceived impact -> people reported higher empathy, understanding.
