Demidov English Club (DEC) is a non-profit project which works in collaboration with Demidov Yaroslavl State University, Center of Effective Communications, and Global Shapers. DEC started with two people, now there are more than 450 members. DEC officially meets once a week in Znamenskaya Tower (historical building in the city center). As DEC affiliates with Demidov University, it attracts mostly young people, but the Club has open door policy and everyone is welcome. It is important to note, DEC is a noble project in Yaroslavl – the city with population of 600 000. Interestingly enough, there are no many possibilities to communicate with foreigners and receive multicultural experience.
