Distributing COVID-19 Posters and Hygiene Packages

When COVID-19 had spread all over the city of Herat, the rate of infection increased dramatically. Although the quarantine approach seemed effective, places like bakeries still had a crowd, which made the environment fatal for the employees of the bakery shops and the people who came for bread. Therefore, the Herat Hub Shapers installed COVID-19 informative posters and distributed hygiene packages including masks, gloves, and sanitizers to keep the rate of infection as low as possible in those crowded places.

Project Impact:

As a result, we could cover 51 bakeries with posters and hygienic packages for their employees. In addition, we distributed about 30 more packages to the soldiers who were patrolling the streets and the intersections in Herat city. Totally, we distributed 350 masks, 300 gloves, more than 30 sanitizers, and about 50 posters.

The goals of the project were to:

1. Help people to understand ways to avoid infection while providing for their basic needs.

2. Equip the employees of bakeries with masks, gloves, and sanitizers.

3. Lower the rate of infected people in the city.
