Food Composting

Food Composting is a project aiming to achieve the following outcomes: increase in Senior Citizen awareness and participation in climate change, and increase Compost Adoption Rate through the educational workshops.

In partnership with The Waste Lab, Ministry of Community Development and the Arab Youth Center, the Dubai Hub will conduct educational programs in Arabic for senior citizens in the UAE to reduce food waste at home, and teach the benefits of composting and how to compost effectively for the environment.

The project seeks to addresss a lack of senior citizens involvement in educational workshops and climate change awareness.
