Problem Statement:

Khobar's young job seekers must boost skills and awareness to thrive in a dynamic job market shaped by global trends like Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0.

Target Group:

The project is aiming to benefit recent graduates and job seekers in the Khobar community.

Proposed Solution:

The hub is addressing the problem through a series of lectures, workshops, and one-to-one mentoring sessions focusing on crucial topics like resume writing and interview skills. These sessions covered a diverse range of themes, including personal branding, resilience, employee engagement, future jobs, future of skills, LinkedIn page optimization, and building a professional image. This is a long-term solution that aims to continuously prepare and advance young Saudi graduates for the evolving job market.

Hub Activities:


  • Conducting regular workshops and lectures.

  • Providing personalized mentoring sessions.

  • Engaging with industry professionals for specialized guidance.

Resources Needed:


  • Technical expertise in career development and industry trends

  • Funding for organizing workshops and events

  • In-kind donations for materials, such as educational resources and stationery

  • Collaboration with professionals in the field for mentorship opportunities

Milestones and Timelines:



  • March 2019: Project Launch


  • Ongoing: Conduct regular lectures and workshops


  • Ongoing: Facilitate one-to-one mentoring sessions


  • Beneficiaries: More than 1500 beneficiaries

Short-Term Goals / Results:


  • Conduct at least three workshops on resume writing and interview skills within the first six months. The workshops should covere a diverse range of themes, including personal branding, resilience, employee engagement, future jobs, future of skills, LinkedIn page optimization, and building a professional image.

  • Engage with a minimum of 50 recent graduates and job seekers through the conducted sessions.

Long-Term Change:


  • Increase the employability of young Saudi graduates in the evolving job market.

  • Establish JYC as a sustainable resource for continuous career development.
