UAE Women Empowerment

The UAE Women Empowerment Project was initiated by the Dubai Hub to uncover and address challenges that women face in the region, including both women in and out of the workforce. The Project aims to effect lasting policy-level and cultural change in partnership with the government and relevant organizations by developing recommendations for policymakers and corporations on how they can improve the current state of the workplace for working women, and increase accessibility for women to return to work.

Our objectives for the Project include:

  • Support 50-100 large to mid-sized organizations in Dubai and the UAE in creating a more inclusive workplace for working women through our report, benchmarks and workshops

  • Support 10-20 women outside of the workforce to return to work (as part of the initial pilot)

  • Support regional policymakers in the development of more inclusive policies for working women and caregivers  through our report and benchmarks
