Submit Your Ideas on Personal Data Use
Who do you trust? Throughout our rich digital lives, business, government and others are collecting information and data about us. This raises opportunities, concerns and risks about the use of such personal data. This data, if secured and protected, can be used to address a variety of social challenges in more efficient and innovative ways. To explore these issues, the World Economic Forum is currently working on a Rethinking Personal Data project, to examine the key questions surrounding responsible personal data use in the digital age.
We want your thoughts on who you DO and DON'T trust with your personal data. Help us imagine what the future of personal-data-informed experiences COULD be! We want to see your fresh ideas on this inspired by the world around you.
Share your stories and insights with us by submitting photos of:
• Devices, brands, and environments you DO or DON’T trust with your personal data
• Objects or environments that you would WANT to collect or access your personal data in exchange for improved user experiences
• Symbols, marks, and messaging that you come across in the world that COMMUNICATE trust, or the opposite – that make you feel INSECURE about your data
Please submit your ideas here: http://frogmob.frogdesign.com/mob/personal-data
Your stories will directly contribute to the World Economic Forum’s Rethinking Personal Data project and report to be published in Feburary 2011.
