Winners of the Global Agenda Visualisation Challenge

Visualization Clint Beharry, Sera Koo, Gene Lu, Yang Yang and Tina Ye, a team of students from the School of Visual Arts in New York, have won the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Councils data visualisation challenge with their entry entitled Catalyzing the Global Dialogue. The team were selected by a panel of judges consisting of members of the Global Agenda Councils on Design and Innovation including Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator, Department of Architecture and Design, MoMA; Adam Bly, Founder and CEO, Seed; and Toshiko Mori, Robert P. Hubbard Professor in the Practice of Architecture, Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

There are 72 Global Agenda Councils which are organised around areas of expertise such as ageing, human rights and design and innovation. The members of these councils meet each year in Dubai for the world's largest brainstorm around the issues and challenges in which they hold their expertise. However, these issues do not stand alone. The winning visualisation will be shown at the Summit on the Global Agenda, held in Duabi, UAE, from 29 November – 1 December.The team will also recieve a cash prize of $3000 from GE.
