Cape-town The World Economic Forum on Africa, held in Cape Town, South Africa, on 4-6 May 2011, offers plenty of opportunities to follow the meeting and interact with participants through the Forum’s website and social networks.

Virtual Press Conference

Meet Katherine Tweedie, Director, Head of Africa, through the Virtual Pre-Meeting Press Conference on the World Economic Forum on Africa at 11.00 CEST, where the key participants and highlights of the meeting will be announced. Use the Forum’s Livestream channel and Facebook page to join the press conference and ask your questions.

Social Media Corner and Davos Debates

The Social Media Corner in the Congress Centre will bring Africa to you, inviting discussion and debate on the theme “From Vision to Action, Africa’s Next Chapter”. The Social Media Corner will also facilitate the Davos Debates YouTube Channel, where cameras will capture participants answering the question, “How can we translate vision to action in Africa?”
