The future lies within the youth whose employment should be the government’s top priority. Xiezhi is a social enterprise aiming to help the young job seekers by providing affordable accommodations to them so that they can get better prepared for employment. It is awarded with the honour of Social Entrepreneur by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Beijing in 2012 for its contribution in helping more than 16,000 young job seekers. Many job seekers from all over China come to Xiezhi every day, each cherishing their dreams and hopes. We, the staff in Xiezhi, want to record their career dreams in the forms of sound, writing and video, therefore sharing their loneliness, confusion, helplessness, hesitation and reluctance, as well as their collaboration, confidence, courage, hopes and dreams. This video, which was done very smoothly and entitled Dream of Xiezhi: Providing Young Job Seekers with the Pathways to Enter the Workforce, tells not only dreams of the young job seekers, but also the dream of Xiezhi to help them find jobs. We hope more entities and entrepreneurs can join us to help those young people fulfil their career dreams after the video is viewed by more and more people.
