Which is the best airport for sleeping?

Singapore Changi is the world’s best airport for sleeping, according to ‘The Guide to Sleeping in Airports’ 2015 survey.

As the world becomes increasingly connected, air travel is a vital part of the global economy, and whether intentionally or otherwise, we sometimes find ourselves catching some sleep in a terminal. The survey asked travellers to rate airports on their “sleepability”, and the report argues that factors such as designated rest zones, comfortable couches, blankets and quiet corners help to boost scores.

Second on the list is Seoul Incheon, while Helsinki International’s sleeping pods help it secure 3rd place.

Other European airports feature strongly in the top 10, including Munich International in 4th, Vienna International in 5th and Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in 6th. Two other Asian airports also feature, Tokyo Haneda in 7th and Taipei Taoyuan in 10th.
