Professor Alessandro Rosiello is Chair in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Edinburgh Business School, where he currently serves as Director of Internationalisation. In this role, he provides strategic leadership in advancing the School’s global engagement across research, teaching and executive education, with a particular emphasis on developing partnerships and strengthening international collaboration. He also serves as Director of Innovation at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, where he supports interdisciplinary activity addressing complex societal and technological challenges through innovation-led approaches.
Alongside these senior academic leadership roles, Professor Rosiello is a Director of SMAR-Azure Ltd and ACT Blade Ltd, reflecting a sustained commitment to knowledge exchange, enterprise engagement and the translation of research into practical application. His profile combines academic excellence with substantial experience of cross-sector collaboration, innovation ecosystems and externally facing programme development.

He is well placed to ensure that an AI Professional Degree/Trainee Accelerator delivers academic rigour, practical relevance and meaningful impact across policy, industry and skills development.
