What’s next for rooftop solar?
It’s likely that costs will continue to fall, eventually making rooftop solar the dominant source of electricity in many parts of the world including Australia.
Bernhard Mitchell
Bernhard’s work focuses on materials for photovoltaics. He develops optical inspection methods to help the early assessment of material quality prior to and during the manufacturing of silicon solar cells. Bernhard holds an Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) Postdoctoral fellowship since completing his PhD at UNSW in 2013. He’s been with Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Germany and UC Berkeley prior to joining UNSW.
