Carlos Cantú

PhD candidate in Economics, University of California

Carlos Cantú García was born in Mexico City in 1985. He recieved a BD in economics and another in Applied Mathematics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He worked as a research analyst for two years at the Economic Research Department of Mexico’s Central Bank. Currently, he is a PhD. in economics candidate at UCLA. His research focus is on capital flow management policies and their impact on market liquidity and price volatility.
