Ms. Chie Aoyagi, a Japanese national, is currently an Economist in the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (OAP) in Tokyo. Her research focuses on structural reforms in Japan. She joined the Fund in 2012. Prior to joining the IMF, she was an assistant equity analyst and economist in Nomura Asset Management. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies in 2008.
