随着技术赋能本土文化走向世界,亚洲文化输出正迎来一场前所未有的扩张。到2030年,全球电影与娱乐产业规模有望达到1700亿美元,而这其中的增长动力很大程度上将由中文、韩语、印地语和阿拉伯语作品来驱动。
David Liao is Co-Chief Executive of Asia-Pacific and Middle East alongside Surendra Rosha.
Mr Liao is a member of HSBC’s Holdings plc's Group Operating Committee and serves as Executive Director on the Board of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. He holds positions as Chairman of HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited and Non-Executive Director of Hang Seng Bank Limited.
After joining HSBC in 1997, Mr Liao was responsible for the local currency fixed income business in Greater China and Singapore. He was appointed Treasurer and Head of Global Markets, China in 2005; then became Head of Global Banking and Markets, China in 2013; and served as President and Chief Executive, HSBC China from 2015-2020. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Global Banking Coverage for Asia-Pacific.
Mr Liao holds an Honours degree from the University of London.
