I am a Russian-French scholar and administrator with 10+ years of international experience across public, academic, and multilateral sectors. As Head of Research and Analysis at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, I lead CultureSTATS-AD, the MENA region’s first initiative for culture research and evidence-based policymaking. Our work spans over 20 studies - from Abu Dhabi’s first cultural baseline and biennial population survey to qualitative and economic analyses - bridging research, policy, and practice.
Our findings, featured in Nature and Quality and Quantity, support collaborations with UNESCO, OECD, IFACCA, and others. I have taught in France and India and served as a speaker and advisor to institutions across Europe, the UK, the US, and Japan.

Museums should explore new forms of financing that allow them to function effectively as impact enterprises and generate value in multiple sectors.
