Goodness Esom is an award-winning lawyer with expertise in renewable energy, environmental, and natural resources law. Recently, he was selected for the Future50 Initiative- a flagship initiative of the Global Shapers Community and the Forum's Global Foresight Network.
He frequently contributes to the Forum Stories and uses his fluency in French, Mandarin, and Spanish to foster collaboration on global initiatives. He is also a United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leader for the class of 2024, where he implements initiatives geared towards the United Nations Global Goals. He is a climate reality leader and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ‘The Exceptional Law Students Quarters (TELS-Q), an organization committed to enhancing the quality of law students in Africa by providing legal and non-legal education to them.
He possesses strong analytical and writing skills and is passionate about the net-zero transition, sustainable development, and the energy transition.
