Henrique S. Basso is an economist at the research division of the Bank of Spain. His research focuses on macroeconomics and finance. He has worked on monetary and fiscal policy institutional design and the interactions between financial intermediation and macroeconomic outcomes, among other topics. He holds a B.A. from State University of Campinas â Sao Paulo and a Ph.D. from Birkbeck, University of London.
