Jake Yu is President of the Continuum Institute, Managing Partner of Peregrine Ventures, and an Agenda Contributor at the World Economic Forum. He works at the intersection of governance, innovation, and capital — committed to transforming technology’s promise into trust and shared progress by building partnerships among governments, institutions, and frontier technologies to shape an intelligent and inclusive future.

At the Continuum Institute, he leads global initiatives to advance a “New Bretton Woods for the Intelligent Age” — a collaborative framework aligning public and private sectors to strengthen international trust in AI governance and digital cooperation. Through Peregrine Ventures, he drives impact-driven investments across frontier technologies, sustainable finance, and digital inclusion — initiatives that have improved millions of lives and influenced global capital flows. In 2024, Peregrine Ventures was recognized by the United Nations as a stakeholder in the Summit of the Future, a platform convening world leaders to shape a more resilient global order.

Earlier in his career, Jake was honored in Qualcomm’s Hall of Fame Qualstar for leading connectivity programs that expanded internet access to underserved regions. He began his entrepreneurial journey while still in university and continues to mentor emerging investors and innovators seeking to align technology with the public good.
