Jeremy Shapiro

Associate Research Scholar, Princeton University

Jeremy Shapiro is an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research focuses on economic development and behavioral economics, including multiple impact evaluations in India, the Philippines, South Africa, Kenya and Peru.

Jeremy is a co-founder of GiveDirectly, and was a Director of the organization from 2009 to 2012. He is also the President of the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics
