Johnny Harris is an independent journalist and filmmaker, and the co-founder of Bright Trip Inc., a video-based travel education platform. He was previously a multimedia journalist for Vox, creating and producing its popular “Borders” series, and a multimedia producer at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He holds BA in international relations from Brigham Young University, and an MA in international peace and conflict resolution from American University. He lives in Washington.
