Julia Strandberg is the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Leader of Connected Care and a Royal Philips Executive Committee member.
Passionate about helping patients and the community by creating access to healthcare, Julia understands how to deliver in the global healthcare ecosystem, with expertise in software, informatics, and monitoring, and brings extensive experience in developing and commercializing medical technologies.
Julia represents Philips on the AdvaMed Digital Health Board, which focuses on digital health and AI, platformization, cybersecurity, and reimbursement. She is also a member of MedtechWOMEN, among other organizations, and the Executive sponsor and representative for the Health Systems Marketing Leadership Council and the Marketing CoEs.
To address the need to connect patient care, Julia oversees several strategic partnerships with top health systems to bridge the gaps in patient care while continuing to uncover ways to innovate for better outcomes.
Before joining Philips, Julia was the Chief Commercial Officer at Pear Therapeutics, where she led the commercial team to build, launch, and grow the prescription digital therapeutics market and helped the organization go public in December 2021. Before this, Julia led a healthcare business consulting firm focused on driving growth. She also worked at Medtronic for several years, conducting a global informatics and monitoring business. Earlier in her career, Julia worked at Covidien Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions, which was acquired by Medtronic, and at 3M.
Julia holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University. She has been married to her husband Glen for 20 years, has a dog named Edison, and is a former competitive swimmer and marathoner.
