Karikari Kwagyan Achireko is a strategy and advisory professional focused on the energy, industrials and infrastructure sectors. His work spans business strategy, AI strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, and investment strategy, transmission and utility strategy, capital planning and risk management, with experience in international development and trade. He is Director for Corporate Strategy and Global Partnerships at the Africa Sustainable Energy Centre (ASEC) and a Consulting Associate at Charles River Associates. His experience spans the World Bank, the MIT Energy Initiative, MIT’s Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, the Electricity Company of Ghana and Wilmar International. He is a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum’s Boston Hub and a Future Energy Leader with the World Energy Council. He holds a graduate degree in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
