June 2017, Ms. Katherine Haichun Gao joined Trina Solar. Since 2025, she has served as the Co-Chairman and President of the Solutions Business Unit of Trina Solar Co., Ltd., continuously focusing on providing customers with comprehensive smart energy solutions. These solutions cover multiple fields, including from distributed to centralized energy systems, from the integration of power sources, grids, loads, and energy storage to microgrids, and from carbon-neutral factories to carbon-neutral parks.
With her rich experience in digital management practices and industry investment management, she actively promotes distributed photovoltaic services and smart energy solutions. She deeply integrates photovoltaic technology with digital management platforms to meet the diverse application needs of distributed photovoltaics and provides customers with a "full-life cycle" clean energy experience.
Katherine also actively responds to China's "Dual Carbon" strategy and the "Belt and Road Initiative". She has represented the enterprise and the industry on global platforms such as the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, the Boao Forum for Asia, and the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28), promoting the global green energy transition and conveying China's carbon emission reduction concepts to the world.
Katherine has been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2025.
