Kyle J. Krause is Founder & CEO of Krause Group, a family-owned holding company with investments spanning sports, hospitality, wine, real estate, and cultural ventures in the United States and Italy. Krause Group builds on decades of business leadership, most notably through the growth of Kum & Go, which expanded to more than 400 locations across 13 U.S. states prior to its sale in 2023.
Kyle has over two decades of experience in soccer ownership and development and was inducted into the United Soccer League Hall of Fame for his contributions to the sport. He is a committed advocate for women’s athletics, community-centered development, and leveraging sport as a catalyst for economic and social impact.
A dedicated civic leader and philanthropist, Kyle serves on the boards of the National Gallery of Art (Trustee’s Council and Collector’s Committee), Des Moines Art Center (Chair, Acquisitions & Collections Committee), Iowa Soccer Development Foundation, Des Moines Redevelopment Company, and Monocle. His work spans the arts, urban revitalization, and sustainable development. Through Krause Group, he has committed to donating at least 10% of annual profits to community and social impact initiatives. Kyle is motivated by a long-term vision of building more equitable, resilient, and sustainable communities for future generations.
