Maria Ines Martin leads the awards process, community engagement, and impact management of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, the sister organization of the World Economic Forum. Originally from Argentina, with 20 years of experience spanning the World Economic Forum, PwC, IATA, and UCLA, she is a hands-on professional driven by a strong belief in people’s capacity to grow with dignity, autonomy, and purpose. A joyful mom, avid reader, and good salsa dancer, she’s particularly interested in topics at the intersection of sociology, sustainability, and economics—her favorite SDG: #12 Responsible Consumption and Production.
