Many alien plants and animals have been introduced to Africa from other regions and then have spread from country to country, often having devastating effects.
Mark Robertson's research includes the fields of community ecology, macro-ecology and biological invasions. His research interests include investigations into the factors that limit species distributions and in predicting potential distributions of species using species distribution models.
