Marta Ruiz-Arranz is Deputy Division Chief in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the International Monetary Fund, coordinating the work of the Fiscal Monitor. She holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. She is currently on external assignment with the Inter-American Development Bank.
