The role of industrial parks in India's clean energy transition
India's clean energy strategy intends to use industrial clusters to scale green hydrogen by addressing renewable energy reliability and water scarcity.
Murali has held several leadership roles in India’s energy and power sector over the past 20 years, both in large corporates and as a Founder/Director. His expertise lies in building and scaling organizations focused on the development, execution, and operation of power generation projects. Over the last two decades, Murali has played a key role in rolling out and operationalising 40 plus power assets, totaling several gigawatts of capacity. These projects span a wide range of technologies, including biomass, wind, solar, thermal (large), small hydro, and large hydro. In recent years, Murali has been actively involved in the emerging fields of green ammonia and green hydrogen. Murali holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
