She received her PhD in Physics from Harvard University as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute International Fellow. She is also the inaugural Tory Burch Foundation Fellow in Genomics at the Innovative Genomics Institute led by Nobel Laureate Dr Jennifer Doudna.
