Roger Rouhana is the co-founder and CEO of Alpheya, an Abu Dhabi-based WealthTech platform offering a full suite of B2B, cloud-native, AI-powered solutions tailored to MENA banks, investment firms, and family offices. Alpheya was incorporated in June 2023 with the strategic and financial backing of BNY Mellon and Lunate, with a committed capital of $300M.
Prior to founding Alpheya, Roger served as BNY Mellon’s Head of Corporate Strategy and was a member of the Bank’s Strategic Advisory Council. He was responsible for shaping the Bank’s overall direction, driving growth initiatives across business lines and regions, managing partnerships and corporate development, and unlocking key client opportunities.
Roger joined BNY Mellon in July 2019 after working as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised leading financial institutions in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, including central banks, regulators, exchanges, and private equity firms. He also co-led McKinsey’s Capital Markets Infrastructure practice.
