Ruti Ben-Shlomi is Co-Founder and CEO of LightSolver. She launched the company with Chene Tradonsky in 2020 after earning her PhD in quantum and atomic/molecular physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2019. During her doctoral research, she built ultra-cold atom and cold ion systems to study quantum signatures in ultracold collisions – platforms that underpin atomic clocks and quantum computers. Ben-Shlomi previously earned her MSc in physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where she designed and built an ultracold atoms system from the ground up. Between degrees, she has also worked as a process engineer at Intel.
