Song Sha is a Green Technologies Project Lead at the Beijing Representative Office of the World Economic Forum, Sha managed the CCICED special policy study on major technology innovation and implementation mechanisms project 2021 (Project assess how technologies can help tackle challenges in six sectors: water, energy, mobility, building, land use and food, and offer recommendations on how these technologies can be brought to maturity whilst gearing digital innovation for the fourth industry revolution. The outcomes will be integrated into the CCICED policy report) and green investment for Belt and Road project (The Green Investment Principles (GIP) call for lenders, investors and corporations that invest and operate in the Belt and Road countries (B&RCs) to ensure their projects are aligned with the requirements of environmental sustainability and the Paris Agreement. Sha developed the strategy of the Centre for Global Public Goods for China in 2019, managed the green finance community in 2018 and China’s Innovation Ecosystem in 2016, and managed global future council in 2014-2016. Prior to that she worked as a program assistant at SWITCH-Asia Network Facility in Wuppertal, Germany.
