Solape's career is marked by a diverse range of experiences across government, the private sector, and civil society. Her versatile expertise encompasses policy development, political administration, project management, interparliamentary affairs, and human capital development, all with a strong emphasis on promoting the inclusion of women and youth in decision-making processes.
As the Director of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI), a youth leadership development program aimed at nurturing the next generation of public sector leaders, particularly legislators, to excel in public service, she has trained and mentored hundreds of emerging public sector leaders while working with high-level policymakers and public leaders nationally and internationally.
Solape's contributions within the Nigerian parliament extended to her integral involvement in shaping the Legislative Agenda, a pivotal document approved by the President of Nigeria, guiding the legislative priorities of the 9th House of Representatives. Solape has also worked on key legislative reforms like the Reserved Seats, Independent Candidacy Bill, Police Service Commission Bill, the Student Loan Bill, the Electoral Act, etc.
