Timothy Leighton FREng FRS is Professor of Ultrasonics and Underwater Acoustics at the University of Southampton, UK. He is the founding Chairman of the University Strategic Research Group NAMRIP (Network for Anti-Microbial Resistance and Infection Prevention) and founding Chairman of HEFUA (Health Effects of Ultrasound in Air).
