Zili Huang

Curator, Cambridge-MA Hub

Zili is currently pursuing a PhD in Population Health Sciences at Harvard University, specializing in global health systems. Her research is divided into two primary areas. The first focuses on the technical design of health systems to ensure equitable access to healthcare for all, without causing financial hardship. The second emphasizes the societal and governance factors that shape people’s perceptions of health and influence health behaviors. This work is particularly important for building the resilience of health systems in the face of future healthcare emergencies and for protecting healthcare as a fundamental human right.

Before beginning her PhD studies, she developed a diverse background in healthcare investment, biotechnology, and worked with international organizations such as the United Nations Economic Committee for Europe and the World Economic Forum. This range of experiences equips her with a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to addressing global health challenges.
