Climate Breakthroughs 2021 - Net-Zero Steel - English

The steel sector accounts for around 7% of total greenhouse gas emissions globally. As a key material for many industries now and in the future, decarbonizing the sector is a strategic priority both for policymakers and major manufacturers, such as the automotive industry. This session will lay out key solutions that are developed with the steel sector under the Net-Zero Steel Initiative that would enable accelerated decarbonization and key milestones in the pursuit of the steel Race to Zero Breakthrough.
