Congo's mountain rainfall makes enough clean energy to power a city

Virunga National Park is one of the crown jewels of global conservation. It’s home to 50% of Africa’s terrestrial species including the rare mountain gorilla. But it’s also beset by poaching, deforestation and conflict so the park devised a plan to protect its treasures by building 3 hydroelectric power plants and becoming a beacon for clean development.
