The World Economic Forum launched the Global Cooperation Barometer 2024 – a new tool developed in partnership with McKinsey & Company to measure the state of global cooperation broadly and along five pillars: trade and capital, health and wellness, climate and natural capital, innovation, and technology, peace, and security.

The report also identifies six ways leaders in the public and private sectors can foster greater cooperation, including by practicing “coopetition” – balancing cooperation and competition – to advance shared interests in specific areas despite a lack of alignment elsewhere.
