In Australia, Indigenous groups are partners in this new green hydrogen scheme

The East Kimberley Clean Energy Project will deploy 1 million solar panels combined with existing hydropower to produce 50,000 tonnes of green hydrogen a year. The hydrogen will be converted into green ammonia which will be used as a sustainable agricultural fertilizer. Construction could begin by the end of 2025.
