Japan Airlines is helping passengers rent clothes to make their baggage lighter

You can have a whole new wardrobe waiting at your hotel in Japan so you don’t need to take as many clothes with you. Reducing the weight of your baggage and therefore the fuel needed to fly. Each kilo of weight removed from a flight from New York to Tokyo reduces emissions by 0.75kg, says the airline. The new service is called Any Wear, Anywhere.
