What parents should know before posting about kids online

Sharenting can have negative consequences, both for children’s privacy and mental well-being. Parents and carers can unwittingly share personal information. This can be a goldmine for fraudsters. A UK study found that by 2030, sharenting could fuel two-thirds of identity fraud as it enables criminals to harvest personal information such as names, addresses and birthdays
