The UK Is the Only G7 Country Where Inflation Is Still Rising

In May, inflation in the UK hit 7.9%. Up from 7.8% in the previous month. It’s the worst inflation in the UK in three decades. Inflation has fallen across the G7 as a whole, however from 5.4% in April to 4.6% in May. In the UK, inflation is being driven by surging costs for food and energy.
