These Tiger Sharks Helped Uncover The World’s Largest Seagrass Meadow

Scientists attached biodegradable, shark-friendly cameras to their dorsal fins, then sent them off to explore a vast seagrass meadow in the Bahamas. The team of 7 sharks confirmed findings from satellite images. Human divers also investigate seagrass meadows. But they can’t reach the depths of tiger sharks who spend their time hunting turtles and other prey in seagrass meadows.
