This Is Colombia's First Hydrogen-Powered Bus

This is Colombia's first hydrogen-powered bus. It has a range of 450km, enough for 3 days of operation. It also has its own on-board electrolyzer, which can produce 64kg of green hydrogen a day. That’s enough to supply 14 similar buses. The bus can carry 50 passengers. It’s expected to begin operation in Bogotá in June this year. Hydrogen-powered vehicles emit only water vapour. To be truly sustainable, however, they must run on green hydrogen. That is, hydrogen produced using renewable energy. Hydrogen can be used for emission-free transport of all kinds. The Train de Charlevoix is North America's first hydrogen-powered train.
