This Solar Farm in Kosovo Uses Sheep to Mow the Grass

The Rogane solar farm has 12,000 photovoltaic panels. Cutting the grass around them can be tricky and time-consuming so the farm has hit on a more natural method. Twice a week, it invites a local shepherd to release his flock of more than 100 sheep. The sheep eat both grass and weeds. In return, the farm lets him water his sheep from its deep well and provides electricity at shearing time.
